Ireland’s Under 20’s rugby team play their final match of the Six nations competition this Friday 17 March in Donnybrook Stadium.

Here’s why you should get behind the men in green in Dublin this Paddy’s Day.

1) You’re watching Ireland’s future stars

Ciaran Frawley, Paul Boyle, Calvin Nash: These could be the lads bringing home the silverware in a few years’ time. Watch them in action now and say saw where it all started.

2) Tickets are easier to find.

While tickets for our senior squad’s games are like gold dust, it’s good to know that there’s a more achievable alternative and all at a nicer price!

3) Our Under 20’s have had a hell of a tournament

Ireland’s Under-20’s were in contention for a Grand Slam until just last week. Friday’s match against England is likely to finish the season off with an action-packed game.

4) Supporting the under-20’s is worthwhile

Rugby is a great outlet for the people who play it and their communities. By going to matches you’re showing that you support the development of underage rugby in Ireland.

5) Paddy’s Day Rugby – Enough said

Who said there’s such thing as too much rugby? While our senior squad definitely gets a lot more attention you’ll have a great time watching our under 20’s play some top-quality rugby in Dublin.

This Friday 17 March, Electric Ireland is proud to sponsor the match as Ireland’s Under 20’s continue their Six Nations campaign against France in Donnybrook stadium at 6pm.
