Tulisa records Collins track!

XFactor contestant Marcus Collins has revealed that judge Tulisa Contostavlos has recorded one of his songs.

He has said that he wrote the track for the N-Dubz star before entering the competition and shocked her during the show by informing her that it was one of his own compositions!

Collins said lately “I have always written songs. I wrote a song for Tulisa, which she recorded before she knew me, before I auditioned for the show or anything”.

“It was called ‘Breakaway’ but it ended up not coming out because she got the X Factor job. I think it was going to be her first solo single”.

He continued: “She was making a roast dinner for all the groups in the X Factor house and we got talking, then I started singing the song”.

“We had a laugh about it. I suppose it still could happen. She is in LA right now recording more songs then she’s going to Miami to shoot a video so it is all taking off for her”.

Collins told the Daily Record: “I have always written songs. I wrote a song for Tulisa, which she recorded before she knew me, before I auditioned for the show or anything.
“It was called ‘Breakaway’ but it ended up not coming out because she got the X Factor job. I think it was going to be her first solo single.”
He continued: “She was making a roast dinner for all the groups in the X Factor house and we got talking, then I started singing the song.
“She was looking at me like, really confused, and asked how I knew that song. I said, ‘Because I wrote it, love – it’s one of mine’.
“We had a laugh about it. I suppose it still could happen. She is in LA right now recording more songs then she’s going to Miami to shoot a video so it is all taking off for her.”
Collins added: “But I think the songwriters she is working with now are getting a little bit bigger and better than me, she is moving up.”
