Take That star Robbie Williams is helping former X Factor contestant Craig Colton write new songs.
The star helped Gary Barlow in selecting Colton for the live final stages of the competition last year and has continued to keep in contact since the show.
Colton revealed lately “I send Robbie my lyrics and he tells me what he likes and what he doesn’t like”.
“One song – ‘Beautiful Surprise’ – he described as ‘genius’. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to help me. Hopefully I’ll get to LA to see him in the summer”.
Colton also confirmed that Barlow has booked him and fellow X Factor finalist Marcus Collins to perform at a Liverpool-based gig to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee later this year.
