Chris Martin pays touching tribute to Linkin Park's Chester Bennington

Chris Martin’s honoured the late Chester Bennington with a moving cover of Linkin Park’s song Crawling.

The Coldplay frontman performed the track at a gig in New Jersey on Tuesday night.

Chester’s Linkin Park bandmate Mike Shinoda was in the crowd; he posted a video of Chris’ version on Instagram, describing it as ‘beautiful’.

Chester was found dead at his home in California on July 20th. He was 41.
