It’s nearly here!

The famous JapFest, Irelands one and only Japanese car show, is once again ready to thrill when it drifts into Mondello Park in County Kildare for one supercharged weekend across the 23rd and 24th of September.

Since 2007, car enthusiasts have flocked to the event in their droves to see the finest Japanese cars and bikes Ireland has to offer.

And with just under 700 of the finest Jap models set for display this year, there'll be no shortage of eye-candy for rev-heads.

Those seeking a bit of adrenalin won’t be left disappointed either, with the exhilarating fifth and final round of the Irish Drift Championship to take place across the weekend.

If you aren’t yet familiar with JapFest, here’s a quick video to get you up to speed:

As you can see, JapFest is an absolute Mecca for engine lovers.

Those among us who'd rather use their last 150-euro to buy a new drive shaft and just worry about rent and food later...

Those who would prefer the smell of burning rubber to roses any day of the week...

Those who can identify a make and model just by hearing it's engine...

Those who in the middle of a pounding hail storm would throw their bodies across the bonnet to protect their pride and joy from dents...

Those who...well you get the point.

JapFest is for people who just really, really love cars and bikes.

And the stage is set in 2017 for the most exhilarating weekend to date!
