Popular sports presenter Jimmy Magee has died, aged 82.

The veteran broadcaster, known as the ‘Memory Man’, died after a brief illness.

The ‘memory man’ commentator covered an astonishing 10 World Cups and 11 Olympic Games during his illustrious career.

Jimmy – you will be sorely missed by us all.
