210 workers from Carroll’s Cuisine in Tullamore have tested negative for Covid-19.
The workers were tested as part of a serial testing programme on Sunday, after clusters emerged in meat plants in Kildare, Laois and Offaly.
Nine other members of staff, who were previously diagnosed with coronavirus, are still isolating.
The company says it’s in contact with health officials for advice on the next steps to take – but the plant remains closed.
A partial lockdown in Kildare, Laois and Offaly is still in place until the 22nd of August.
