Step away from the burger!
Over 3,000 calories are eaten by people at an average barbeque.
Health experts are warning that it’s way over the daily recommended intake of 2,000 calories for women and 2,500 for men.
According to The Daily Mail, the figures are based on:
- Burger and bun (with cheese)
- A corn on the cob
- Two Chicken drumsticks
- Two hotdogs
One burger and bun with cheese clocks in at 533 calorieswhile two hot dogs with buns will rock up a total of 678 calories.
Even though chicken is slightly healthier, two drumsticks will still add up to 422 calories while one corn on the cob comes in at 110 calories.
