She has been remanded in custody.
A book of evidence is due to be served on Lisa Smith next month, the former member of the Irish Defence Forces is charged with membership of the jihadist terrorist group Isis.
Lisa Smith made a brief appearance before Mr. Justice Colin Daly today.
She appeared before him for the first time last week after being charged with being a member of Isis between Oct 28 2015 and Dec 1st this year.
The court has previously heard she will be defending the allegation.
Gardaí were today given more time to prepare their case against the former soldier after Judge Daly was told the book of evidence wasn’t yet ready.
Ms. Smith, a 37-year-old mother of one from Dundalk, was further remanded in custody until Jan 8th when the book is expected to be served on her.
A live video link from Limerick Prison will be set up on that date so she doesn’t have to travel to Dublin for what’s likely to be another brief hearing.
