It’s set to cost you a lot, lot more for those online deliveries.
Buying goods online from the UK could get a lot more expensive if there’s a no-deal Brexit.
That’s just one of warnings from the Government which is planning for a very worst case scenario.
Goods entering the EU from the UK will be treated as imports from a third country, so that means buying goods online will be more expensive.
Consumer journalist Sinead Ryan says returning items will also become a “nightmare”.
“You’ll have paid all the tax on import”, she explains.
“That has to be handed over at point of arrival so it’s taken from you by your postman or postlady”
“Now you have to go and apply to have those taxes returned to you and the paperwork involved in doing that is just going to be horrendous”.
