Large gigs could happen sooner than we think

Scientists in Germany are hosting a concert to find out how coronavirus would spread at an indoor gig.

The researchers are on the search for 4,000 volunteers to attend Leipzig and enjoy music from singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko.

According to The Guardian, volunteers will have to wear a tiny contact traver around their necks.

This will allow the scientists to record the movement of people every five seconds.

The research which has been called Restart-19 project will also have volunteers use fluorescent sanitiser to show how the virus is spread around the venuel

Ladbible reported that organiser hope to ‘identify a framework’ for how venues will be able to reopen.

This follows the news that the Oxford University Covid-19 vaccine was found to be ‘safe’ and help provide an immune system response.
