A teenager has died following a two car crash in Co Louth last night, in the Ballymascanlon area of Dundalk at around 9pm last night.
The victim was a passenger in of one of the cars, the driver fled the scene on foot - but he has since presented himself to Gardaí.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 40s, was treated in Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for minor injuries.
Gardai in Dundalk are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
They're also asking any road users with video or dashcam footage who were travelling in the Ballymascanlon area between 8pm and 9pm last night to make this footage available.
