Gardaí will fill the gap as a strike by operators leaves nearly a third of speed camera vans unmanned this weekend.
Trade union Siptu says over half of GoSafe workers are on the picket lines this morning.
The company claims this "doesn't correlate with reality" -- saying 70 per cent of "safety camera monitoring sessions" are staffed this weekend.
But it's resulted in calls from Siptu for the firm to sit down at talks to resolve the issue, instead of arguing about the number on strike.
