Cuteness overload! 

This is some sort of Animals of Farthing Wood crossover with reality and we love it!

A ridiculously cute video is doing the rounds online of a coyote and a badger playing in a tunnel underneath a busy motorway in California.

The heartwarming footage shows the coyote playfully hopping around in excitement as he’s greeted by his badger bestie moments before they make their way through the underground crossing.

Peninsula Open Space Trust(POST) are the ones who caught the incredible moment while working on their research programme with their partners, Pathways for Wildlife.

Within minutes of being shared on twitter, the clip went viral, with POST’s Wildlife Linkages Program Manager, Neal Sharma saying: “This video of the coyote and badger is one of our favorites, and it’s clearly captured the hearts of people around the world”.

 

A coyote and a badger use a culvert as a wildlife crossing to pass under a busy California highway together. Coyotes and badgers are known to hunt together.
