Music to our ears!

The head of the HSE has said he expects up to 80 percent of the adult population to be fully vaccinated by the end of the summer.

At the moment 55 percent are fully protected, while more than 70 percent have gotten one jab.

More than 1.8 million Covid certs look set to be issued to those who've been vaccinated.

They'll also be given to those who have recently recovered from the virus.

The certs are to allow for international travel and may also be used to accelerate the reopening of indoor hospitality.

Mixed opinions on re-opening of indoor dining...

However, a civil rights group says it has serious concerns about the government's plans to fast-track emergency legislation to reopen indoor dining.

Government will meet on Tuesday and proposals will be put to them for the re-opening.

The hope is to ease restrictions between July 19th and 26th.

But there's also the proposal of only allowing those who're vaccinated or recovered from Covid to dine indoors.
