McDonald’s has announced it’s creating 800 new jobs across the country.

The fast food chain says the positions will be in its restaurants in 19 counties.

McDonald’s say the roles are being created due to staff capacity increasing in the coming months with the easing of Covid restrictions.

It’ll bring its workforce in Ireland to over 3,000 employees.

On their recruitment site, they say that they’ve a wide range of people working at McDonald’s:

“Some want to improve their prospects. Others want a job that fits round their family life. And some just want to earn a bit of extra cash working with good, friendly people at a place where they can grow.”
