Plus we get our first challenge of the season!

Last night, almost 400,000 people tuned into the brand new winter edition of Love Island across Virgin Media One, Virgin Media One +1 and live on the Virgin Media Player. With a brand new host in our very own Laura Whitmore, it seems people are very much interested in the winter edition.

Here’s what we can expect from tonight’s show when it airs at 9pm on Virgin Media One:

After last night’s bombshell arrival of twins Jess and Eve, tonight’s show sees the Islanders discuss which boys they will steal, whether they want to be stolen or whether they want to mark their territory.

Seeing Nas and the twins in the kitchen, Siânnise says: “So he’s grabbing them breakfast, but he didn’t even ask me if I wanted any breakfast?”

She adds: “I don’t want to be selfish and keep him when I’m not feeling it. That’s not fair, that’s not fair on him. But he did make me feel really comfortable last night.”

Nas himself says to Ollie: “They’re not my type to be fair. But as I said, I think it would be unfair to not give them a chance.”

Elsewhere, Sophie and Connor have a chat outside and Connor reveals: “Maybe I shouldn’t be so closed off and get to know other people. I’d rather get to know you. I don’t know what you’re feeling.”

Sophie replies: “I feel like I’m happy getting to know you. I don’t really have interest at the moment in getting to know anyone else.”

Meanwhile the twins discuss their first impressions of the boys and talk about upsetting the other girls, Eve admits: “We’ve got to do what we’ve got to do. I’m conscious I don’t want to upset anyone, hurt anyone’s feelings.”

Mike moves to reassure Leanne of his feelings towards her after she worries he’ll be stolen by one of the twins.

He says: “I’m trying to do my best to reassure you and help you to kind of trust in my character and me as a person. I have come in here to find love, to find that someone. My initial thoughts of you is that you could be that someone. And you’re a beautiful girl.”

The Islanders take on their first challenge – Spill the Tea

From ITV Studios

Tonight sees the first challenge of the series as the Islanders play Spill The Tea. Receiving a text, the Islanders are told, “It’s time to stir things up as your steamy secrets are revealed in today’s boys vs girls challenge… Spill The Tea. #troubleisbrewing #turnoveranewleaf”

They take it in turns to plunge into a tea cup and fish out a tea bag, which contains a fact about an Islander of the opposite sex and they then kiss the Islander they believe the statement refers to. Statements include who only ever spends £20 on a first date, whose most adventurous bedroom antics are with whipped cream and who has slept with more than 100 members of the opposite sex.

Most of the Islanders opt to kiss the person they’re coupled up with, while some take their chances with others they have their eye on.

The twins clash over Coupling Up

From ITV Studios

With the twins’ impending choice, Shaughna asks Callum for a parting kiss in case they are split up. She says in the Beach Hut: “I’ve done what the dogs do with the lamppost. I’ve left my scent.”

Meanwhile, the twins clash over their choices, as they prepare for who they will choose at the fire pit.

As Eve reveals to her sister who she wants to choose Jess admits: “I can’t believe you made that decision. How come you made that decision?”

Eve says: “I don’t know that’s just the way I feel.”

Jess replies: “Eve, can I just please explain?”

Eve responds: “We’re not arguing over a guy Jess, this isn’t happening.”

Jess adds: “You’re annoying me so much.”

Eve says: “Honestly Jess, sometimes you baffle me.”

Jess and Eve then receive a text, and are told “It’s now time for you to choose which boys you want to couple up with. All Islanders must gather at the fire pit #yoursforthetaking #doublewhammy”

We’ll find out who they choose when Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
