Who’s better behind the wheel in your relationship?

Almost three-quarters of Irish motorists think they’re a better driver than their partner.

The recent survey by CarsIreland.ie shows using a mobile topped the list of driving complaints at 27%, while not indicating and tailgating came in at a close second and third.

Lane hogging, bad parking, and the misuse of roundabouts were other common answers.

27% admitted to singing in the car, but over half of those said they only do it when they’re alone.

Just 2 per cent of respondents admitted to being ‘aggressive’ on the road.

The research also showed that talk radio is one of the most popular sources of in-car entertainment with almost half of people tuning in to talk shows while driving. A further 23% tuning into music shows instead while 15% of people preferred to listen to music streamed from their , podcasts, and audio books.
