The Dublin Airport Authority says it had one of its best bank holiday weekends ever.
Over 400,000 passengers passed through the Airport amid concerns that long queues could cause delays.
Check-in times were reduced to just 25 minutes during certain periods between Friday and Monday.
DAA spokesperson Graeme McQueen says the hiring in of more staff in the coming weeks will reduce delays even further:
"Numbers now are in and around where they were in 2019, we're not going to stop there. Over the course of this month we're hoping to hire up to 50 additional staff so that's going to put us in a good place for the rest of the summer and on into the rest of the year."
"So that should give anyone flying out over the course of 2022 a bit of confidence that you're going to see a much improved performance at Dublin Airport".
