The government are moving to a 'personal responsibility' approach.

Today marks the beginning of a significant easing of restrictions in Ireland.

Organised indoor gatherings can resume with 60% capacity from today.

The cap on outdoor events rises to 75%.

All adults must be fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid, to reach those attendances.

From today, live bands are also allowed to play indoors at weddings, and dancing is allowed again.

All religious ceremonies can go ahead with half-capacity today - allowing over 500 people in some churches.
