Sometimes, you just can’t keep it together.

BBC newsreader, Simon McCoy had to stifle his laughter as he struggled to maintain composure during a news report.

The bizzare segment was about a pianist in Thailand who plays to a colony of monkeys.

The established journalist looked to have been caught off guard when he delivered the report and struggled to get through the segment without bursting out a laugh. 

The final straw for Simon came when he revealed that the musician in the report had previously entertained elephants at retirement sanctuaries with renditions of Beethoven.

The news segment caused quite a stir on Twitter with Simon even retweeting the video:
