90% of adults are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

By the end of today, over 7 million doses will have been administered under Ireland's vaccination programme.

Yesterday, 1,292 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed - a fall of 253 on the previous day.

331 patients are in hospital with the virus - 54 of whom are being treated in intensive care.

Local electoral areas in Monaghan, Donegal and Leitrim have the highest incidence rates of Covid-19 in the country.

Ballybay-Clones tops the list with a rate of 1,576 cases per 100,000 people in the two weeks up until Monday.

Fermoy in Cork has the lowest.
