A Covid-19 vaccine could be available early next year, as Johnson and Johnson says it expects to begin clinical trials by September.

The healthcare company and the Biomedical Research Authority in the US is investing $1 billion dollars US in research and development of a cure to the deadly virus. Its goal is to provide 1 billion vaccines worldwide.

Alex Gorsky, CEO of Johnson & Johnson, issued this statement about the deal:
