It'll be a wet Monday in parts.

A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for 14 counties across Ireland, signalling a cool change from the spell of warmer weather.

Munster, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly and Galway have all been warned of heavy or thundery rain with localised flooding and accumulations of 25 to 40mm in places.

Met Éireann issued a 7am on Monday and is valid until 7am Tuesday.
