Black croissants are now a thing.

No, they’re not burnt – they’re charcoal-infused!

The black pastries have been spotted in London café chain, Coco di Mama.

Their full title is Charcoal Activated Vegan Croissants and worryingly, their slogan is “tastes better than it looks”.

People are having a field day making fun of the croissants and the jury’s out on the benefits of eating blackened lumps of carbohydrates.
