Walk-in centres have caught 2,300 cases so far.
Four new walk-in test centres to catch asymptomatic Covid-19 cases will open this morning.
They're in Ardee in Louth, St Fintan's Hospital in Portlaoise, Mastertech Business Park in Longford and Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
Another will open in Carndonagh in Donegal tomorrow.
In total, 19 centres are open nationally today.
According to HSE National Lead for Testing and Tracing, Niamh O'Beirne the pop up centres have detected over 2,000 cases so far.
