It is the first time customers have been indoors since Christmas.

Bars and restaurants in Northern Ireland are now allowed to serve customers indoors for the first time in 2021.

Lockdown restrictions have been eased, meaning six people from two households can also meet inside and the 'stay local' message has been removed.

For hospitality, only table service is permitted, with six people from six households allowed at a table.

Up to 10 people from the same household are allowed at a table, and children under 12 are not included in these rules.

The Executive is still urging people to be careful to avoid the spread of variants.
