Rapper Asap Rocky has told a court in Sweden he did everything possible to avoid conflict with two men he says were following his entourage in Stockholm.

The American musician has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man in the city in June, saying he acted in self defence.

President Donald Trump has backed the 30-year-old, whose real name is Rakim Mayers.
