Jimmy's son Billy had to have heart surgery was born and at the time Jimmy gave an emotional update about the situation on his own show.
Billy is said to be doing well at this stage although he will have to have more heart surgery when he's six.
Now Ellen DeGeneres has decided to find a way to pay tribute to the baby - while Jimmy was on her show, she revealed that she'd organised the naming of one of the rooms on the heart institute floor at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles after Billy Kimmel.
