Ruth Negga is in line for a big win at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The Irish actress will pick up the Rising Star Award at the ceremony in January.
She's being recognised for her role in the film Loving, which is based on the true story of an inter-racial couple arrested in the 1950s for marrying.
According to Goss.ie there's also been plenty of Oscar buzz surrounding the movie, with rumours that Ruth will pick up a nomination for her performance.
