TikTok have announced their top Irish creators for 2023

They've also named the top trends and songs in Ireland for the year

With all the scrolling on TikTok it's hard to remember what was actually popular throughout the year.

There's now 2 million people in Ireland engaging in the social media app, so it's growing in popularity.

Plenty of content has been produced but the top trends of 2023 were The Roman Empire, Girl Dinner/ Boy Dinner and Bombastic Side Eye.

 TikTok has also announced their breakthrough Irish creators:

@garron_music: Garron is an Irish musician and comedian who will have you dying laughing at his food reviews and tips, not to mention the controversy of Lyons changing the shape of their tea bags.

@ericroberts44: Eric Roberts, originally from Donegal, has become an Irish TikTok sensation and a recent star of Squid Games: The Challenge.

@annaliviahynds: Annaliva is a 25-year-old Northern Irish creator who is sharing her parenting journey and her follower count has grown by 453%.

@itshanice_: Shanice is a 24-year-old Irish creator who was known this year for releasing her first single with EV Wilde, 'Here We Go Again'.

@chrisisainmdom: Originally from Meath, Chris, also known as “The Irish Gay,” is a breakout star on the TikTok comedy scene.
