Hummingbirds is all about helping parents with toddlers use music to fix tricky parenting challenges.

If there's one thing being in isolation has taught us, it's that learning new skills and hobbies is fantastic.

And there is no better example of that than music, during this tough time we've used it as a way bringing us closer together.
When it comes to getting started with music, there is no such thing as too young, as Anne Marie from Hummingbirds in Athlone is teaching.

Hummingbirds is all about helping parents with toddlers use music to fix tricky parenting challenges and save unnecessary tears.

Known as Miss Annie, she has been performing child friendly songs throughout the Covid-crisis, live on Facebook and Instagram for free.
Some songs are in Irish, some for positive mental health, and some just for jumping about and having fun.
And it's a brilliant way to get give the kids something new and exciting to do during lock down.
You can keep track of the Hummingbirds live sing along performances here.
And (when this is all finally over) you can check out the five week 'music for toddlers' course, and it's half price for additional siblings.
