Look Good Feel Better is still here for cancer patients during the pandemic.

Even with Covid-19 dominating the headlines, life and it's everyday realities still go on.

A sobering figure of one person being diagnosed with cancer every three minutes is one of those realities.

As a result of this, does the number of women undergoing cancer treatment.

The side effects of these vital treatments to a woman’s appearance, through an impact on skin and nail condition through to hair loss, can be devastating to their confidence. Whilst survival is the end game, any help offered to look better and therefore feel more normal can never be underestimated.

Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is a global charity hosting skincare and makeup workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment.

How to get involved.

Website lookgoodfeelbetter.ie who normally hold workshops around Ireland say that whilst skincare and makeup is not a cure, it can transform how people feel about themselves at such a dark time and helps rebuild self-confidence.

Due to the current pandemic, face-to-face classes around the country have been temporarily put on hold but LGFB is now running their free workshops virtually.

The testimonials from women who have used this amazing service speak for themselves with the psychological boost and positive impact it has had on them being cited over and over.

If you or someone you know who could do with a lift log on here and sign up with one of their professional volunteer make-up artists for a 1-to-1 consultation.
