1) It’s set in our favorite place in the whole flipping world! Fair play Ed, you’re showing the world what we’ve always known... Not only is Galway beautiful – but there aren’t many places better for a night on the sesh!
2) You might be in the video. The crowd scenes at the start were filmed on the second night of Ed’s gigs in the 3 Arena in Dublin a few weeks ago (so if you were there and you squint and turn your head a bit you might spot yourself.)
3) You saw Fran & Elmo from Love/Hate didn’t ya!? Pity King Nidge slip in somewhere though
4) We’ve all had a night like that in O’Connell’s... Remember the night after Connacht won the Pro12!!
5) There’s Tommy & Hector in the jacks.. standard on a night out in Galway
6) The ‘Galway Grill’ tattoo. It's only a matter of time before someone opens a kebab shop called 'Galway Grill' off cross street.
7) The hat tip to Galway's amazing buskers and street entertainers! The Busker in the video looks a bit like a young Ed and he's only one of hundreds of amazing musicians and artist you'll find on the streets if Galway.
8) Beoga are in full swing in O’Connor’s in Salthill. Honestly, before the Galway Girl video we hadn't heard of these guys.. but they've made us fall in love with trad all over again.. Roll on the Fleadh,
9) Those two pints of Guinness looked perfect.. but of course just like every night out we've had they end up spilling everywhere.
10) The fact that Saoirse Ronan is ever Irish girl on a night out. Dancing on tables, throwin back pints.. draggin a lad she just met into a tattoo parlor to get him inked...
