Avicii was working on a song 'Heaven' with (Coldplay frontman) Chris Martin before his death in April.

Avicii worked on 'A Sky Full Of Stars' with Coldplay back in 2014, and Coldplay took influence from Avicii for their track 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' the following year.

Avicii's long term Studio Partner Carl Falk has just revealed that he is mixing a number of unreleased tracks that himself and Avicii (whose real name is Tim Berg) had worked on.

Carl posted up a photo of the Mixdown on his Instagram - it since seems to have been taken down. "Yesterday was a strange and emotional day in many ways trying to finishing these songs.", he wrote.

"It's not the same producing without you by my side. I miss you hanging over my shoulder doubting every little thing and detail in the song. #avicii #heaven (sic)"

Avicii's family have reportedly met with Tim's record label, to discuss the possibility of releasing a record of unreleased material.

The Label manager Neil Jacobs said: 'It was honestly Avicii's best music for many years.'

It's also reported that they are as many as 200 unreleased songs. If an album gets released, it will be his first since 2015's  'Stories'.

It would be a shame if the world never got to hear some of his best work in years.
