Sylvester Stallone is dead! Well, according to the internet…

Earlier this week, rumours circulated that iconic actor Sylvester Stallone had passed on to the other side.

However, this was all lies as Sylvester himself confirmed that he is in fact alive and well.

This “death hoax” made us slightly reminiscent of all the others that have spread like wildfire throughout the internet.

In case you’ve forgotten about some of these gems, here’s a shortlist:

Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney actually died twice, in both 1969 and 2012.

There’s even a whole conspiracy theory around his “first” death that’s just bonkers. It's alleged that Paul actually died in 1966 and he was replaced by a lookalike.

In 1993 he even named an album “Paul is Live” to poke fun at the whole thing.

Cher

Cher also shared the same fate as Paul and has died twice.

One of which was over a mistaken hashtag about Margret Thatcher’s actual death, #nowthatchersdead.

However, with the internet being the internet some people interpreted this as “now that Cher’s dead”, and it just spiralled out of control from there.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan the martial artist has had the terrible luck to die three times.

Twice he died in 2011 and only once in 2013.

Eminem

Eminem has died two horrible deaths in his life.

His first death was in a disastrous car crash, while the second death involved him getting stabbed four times in NYC. After his stabbing, his rep announced that Eminem remained “unstabbed”.

The internet needs to stop with this whole death hoax craic. There's already been too many real celebrity deaths, we can't cope with fake ones!
