Jason Derulo will be joining forces with Taylor Swift, but not on a music project.

According to Variety, the 'Goodbye' singer will play the part of Rum Tum Tugger, a rebellious cat who's never happy.

The big screen adaptation of the classic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical features a star-studded cast including Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Ian McKellen and James Corden and production is set to get under way next month.
