The singer has tweeted that people should not make jokes about mental illness, after the rapper was admitted to hospital.
He was reportedly hospitalised on Monday after police were called to reports of a disturbance.
It happened just a day after he cancelled the rest of his latest tour.
Lady Gaga says while she doesn't agree with everything Kanye does, she hopes people will show compassion for him and she says she supports and loves him.
