The Rolling Stones are the latest act to be added to the star-studded line up for this evening's gig.

The eight-hour One World: Together at Home is a series of virtual gigs which are being broadcast around the World.

The event was launched by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization to show solidarity with those affected by COVID-19.

Organisers are hoping to raise vital funds for frontline workers.

Executive Producer Declan Kelly, who hails from Tipperary, has praised Lady Gaga for her role in curating the event saying;

"It helps to have Lady Gaga as your partner in this initiative. She has been great to work with and has played a tremendous role in getting an awful lot of the artists to participate."

"Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, The Killers, Taylor Swift and when they were asked by Lady Gaga, they all said yes."

Ireland are well represented with Hozier, Niall Horan and Picture This all set to take part.
