It's not right but it's okay

A woman in the UK has been told she'll go to prison if she keeps playing Whitney Houston songs at full blast.

Kirsten May Partington from Plymouth has reportedly been tormenting her neighbour in the flat below by blaring the tunes for the past eight years.

The Metro reports that during a court appearance this week, the 33 year old was found guilty of 11 counts of failing to comply with a noise abatement notice.

She was given a Criminal Behaviour Order, fined £1,000 and told she could face jail if she doesn’t stop being a nuisance.

The court heard Kirsten May was at one stage playing music so loudly that it woke up her neighbour and "gave her palpitations".

Noise recording equipment placed by the council, and the neighbour’s recordings of the music, confirmed the loudness of the tunes, which also included songs by Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Adele and Fifth Harmony.

Kirsten May claimed she didn't play the music loudly on purpose and that she would fall asleep on the sofa with the TV on due to medication she was taking.
