Aidan and Oonagh  Chat To Griff About 'Love Is A Compass' From the Disney Christmas Ad

The song 'Love Is a Compass' follows on from great things from the Ivor Novello award nominated singer who recently performed at the Tate Modern for her second-ever London show.

"I was excited to get involved in Disney’s Christmas campaign, in support of Make-A-Wish®," Griff says of the collab. "The lyrics of the track and the storytelling in the advert are powerful, and important. The theme of family and loved ones are so front of mind for many of us – especially this Christmas."

For every download before 31 December 2020, 100% of the proceeds from the retail price will be donated to Make-A-Wish®.

ABOUT THE DISNEY CHRISTMAS AD

Disney has unveiled their Christmas ad for 2020. The three-minute video tells the story of Lola, her granddaughter and their family traditions.

The advert starts off in the year 1940, when a young Lola is gifted a Mickey Mouse teddy from her father. Throughout the years, Lola has held onto her beloved Mickey Mouse toy and passed it down to her granddaughter.

The pair share the same Christmas traditions throughout the years making decorations and hanging them around the house. As the years pass by, Lola's granddaughter starts to lose interest in their beloved rituals. But one Christmas, Lola's granddaughter decides to create a festive surprise that lights up her Christmas morning and reignites their special bond.

The ad is a part of Disney's campaign to support Make-A-Wish. They're encouraging people to share a family festive memory on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using #LoveFromDisney. They then promise to donate $1 for every post towards Make-A-Wish.
