If you say so...
Athlone is apparently the most romantic spot in Ireland.
The midlands town came up tops with Wateford and Tralee coming second and third respectively.
The research by Picodi.com surveyed 22 of the largest cities and towns in the country and looked at which areas were searching for “romantic” keywords online. The list of keywords included terms such as 'Valentine’s Day', 'love confession', 'flowers', 'love', and others associated with February 14th. The study used Google data to compare the increase in popularity of those various keywords during the period of January to February 2019.
