Keep the hot water bottle close!
After overnight lows that saw temperatures drop well below freezing across the country last night, it seems things are set to stay bone-chillingly cold for the time being.
The latest forecast from Met Éireann suggests we're set to face temperatures ''a couple of degrees below the seasonal norm'' until later in November.

Here's how things are looking:
Monday night: The good news is that tonight won't be as cold as last night, with temperatures will be between 1C and 4C degrees, things will be coldest in the north with a light to moderate southeast wind.
Tuesday: Tomorrow will see some rain move east over the country, however mainly dry and sunny weather follows into the west.
We can expect between 7C and 11C degrees during day with lows of 1C and 3C degrees overnight.
Wednesday: 'Unsettled weather' will cause strong winds in coastal counties, while the 'below average' November temperatures will continue with highs of 8C and 10C degrees.
Thursday and Friday: Thursday will see some sunny spells and scattered showers and temperatures still on the low side.
While Friday will see more persistent rain in the south and east and showers elsewhere.
''The further outlook to next weekend is for continued unsettled weather with rain or showers at times, temperatures a couple of degrees below the seasonal norm and winds from a variable direction'', the Met Éireann website reads.
