Concerns have been raised over crowds gathering at beaches and parks, as a spell of good weather draws people out from their homes.
Many public parks have remained open since the Coronavirus outbreak began with no restrictions on crowd numbers.
It comes as The Health Minister has welcomed the decision of Wicklow County Council to close a car park at Glendalough over social distancing concerns.
Simon Harris says it's the type of action required by people and organisations to stop the spread of Covid-19.
As people are not observing social distancing @wicklowcoco have closed the upper car park in Glendalough today. All food outlets will be closed and additional garda will be turning traffic away. #Wicklow #SocialDistance #glendalough #COVID19ireland #StayAtHome pic.twitter.com/sM3RR19WeR

A meeting will take place on Tuesday to consider closing car parks at OPW parks across the country.
OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran says it's something that'll be looked at this week:
Meanwhile, there are concerns that large gatherings of people on beaches such as in Sligo and Buncrana in Donegal pose a threat to the containment of COVID-19.
Pictures posted to social media show beaches looking extremely busy with crowds of people seen in close proximity to eachother.
It's a lovely spring day out across Ireland but some of the videos and images that I have seen throughout the country of mass gatherings in places is unbelievable.
People really need to look at the situation across Italy, Spain and France at the moment and wake up.

While, one Donegal TD, Sinn Fein's Pádraig Mac Lochlainn raised his concerns around an influx of tourists to the northwest in the good weather, saying he's been inundated with complaints from locals trying their best to adhere to social distancing rules.
In a post to his social media, Mac Lochlainn stated "This is not a holiday period. This is a national emergency."
