Dog friendly festival coming to Dublin this May bank holiday weekend

'Pups in the park' is set to be a festival for pets and owners to enjoy this May Bank holiday weekend.

It'll take place at the Malahide Castle and Gardens in Dublin over two days and has been described as the 'ultimate dog's day out'.

There are plenty of fun-filled areas for the dogs to enjoy including hay bale races, agility courses and playpens.

Dog experts will also be on hand to give tips and insights for owners.

The two-day event will give dog owners the chance to get some great tips and insights from top veterinary experts.

Dublin Live reports that attendees will also be able to watch four-legged experts Irish Working Sheepdogs, Dogsercise Flyball team and The Irish Kennel Club show you how it's done.

Some of the world's best dog trainers will be attending the festival.

And there's also a range of awards that your pup could walk away with, such as Golden Oldies and Waggiest Tail.

It's been referred to as 'Ireland’s ultimate dog-friendly festival'.
