Two other men have been charged and are before the courts.
A man is being questioned by Gardaí in Louth in connection to a cannabis seizure worth €225,000.
The suspect was arrested in the Drogheda area on Monday and can be held for up to seven days.
The discovery of the drugs was made following a number of searches at houses in the Bryanstown Court and The Riverbank areas of Drogheda.
It's the third arrest in connection to the seizure.
The two men previously arrested are currently charged and before the courts.
