Perfect weather for staying in your own back garden.

There'll be plenty of sunny spells this weekend.

According to the latest forecasts from Met Éireann, this weekend will be mainly dry and sunny. Here's how the weather over the next few days is shaping up:

Thursday

It's set to be a generally dry day tomorrow, but there will be a little patchy light rain or drizzle in the morning, mainly in the west and northwest. The best of the sunshine will be in the east and south with highs of 15 degrees.

Friday

Friday will be another mostly dry day with some glorious sunny spells. There may be a few light showers along the north and east coasts but temperatures will hit 13 degrees in parts. The night will be quite cold with lowest temperatures of 2 degrees.

Saturday

Saturday will again be mainly dry and sunny. It will be quite cold though with highest temperatures of just 10 degrees. Saturday night will be very cold with a sharp frost in many areas and lows of -1 degrees.

Sunday

Another cold, dry and sunny day is expected on Sunday. Met Éireann says we can expect highs of just 9 degrees. Later in the day and on Sunday night, some showers will develop in parts of the north and east. Some of these may be wintry and temperatures will drop to 0.

If you're out and about over the weekend, make sure to be a 2 Metre Peter!
