We're all for this!
With all this talk of social distancing, it's easy to get caught up in the confusion of exactly what the right procedure is, especially when we're outside where things seems much fresher and the air much cleaner.
Well Galway County Council have done their bit to help out on Salthill Prom, an extremely popular spot for walking and grabbing a bit of fresh air.
They've laid out stencils on the pavement as a handy reference to show the correct distance you should keep from other people while you're out and about.
Simple, and hopefully effective!
As forecast, it's a lovely day in Galway. Please practice #SocialDistancing if you're out & about.
Not sure what 2 metres looks like? @GalwayCityCo, with help from Colas, has put these stencils on Salthil Prom. But remember, if it's too crowded wherever you go, go somewhere else! pic.twitter.com/XU4w3CbTLK— Galway City Council (@GalwayCityCo) March 22, 2020
