At least we can get out into the garden.

Although we may not be free to enjoy it as we would like, the sunny weather is certainly helpful in lifting spirits during the Covid-19 pandemic.

And the latest forecast from Met Éireann is suggesting that we have at least three more days of sun and temperatures in the high teens to look forward to (albeit from mainly our own homes).

Here's how it looks:

Wednesday: The national forecaster says it will be dry and mostly clear with highs 14 to 17 degrees around the country.

Thursday: There'll be ''a little more cloud than previous days but long sunny spells also'', with highs of 14 to 17 degrees, mildest in the midlands and west.

Friday: Many areas dry on Friday with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, the best of the sunshine in the north. And again there is predicted maximum temperatures 13 to 17 degrees, highest in the west.

Unfortunately the weekend looks a bit cooler with cloud over much of the country with patchy outbreaks of rain at times.

But hey, it's not like that's going to ruin anyone's trip to the beach or anything...
