The Live at the Drive In gigs have been cancelled

The Live at the Drive-In series of concerts has been cancelled.

Gavin James, Aslan and Hermitage Green were due to perform dates in Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and Waterford as part of the series.

Organisers say the concerts can no longer go ahead as planned due to government guidelines, and full refunds will be made available.

Gavin James was due to play a sold-out show in Limerick this Friday. He said he's very disappointed.

"Yeah it sucks," he admitted.

"There's been many months of work put into these gigs and getting crews and getting the security and everybody out back doing what they do for the first time in a while so it's quite saddening that it's not happening".
